Dr. George Cheriyan DO
Board-Certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine
Dr. George Cheriyan has been practicing Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine since 2011. He completed his medical school training at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree. He completed his internship and residency training at Southampton Hospital in Southampton, NY. Dr. Cheriyan is board-certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine.
He is also an Assistant Professor at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) to medical students, residents and other physicians. He's contributed time into researching how OMM affects Parkinson Disease patients, medical education and helped treat patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at NYIT-COM EDS center.
He is affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association, New York State Osteopathic Medical Society, and the American Academy of Osteopathy.
